Over 40 nations to attend children filmfest in Isfahan

Over 40 countries are scheduled to attend the 30th International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults in the Iranian city of Isfahan.

Over 40 countries have scheduled to attend the 30th International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults in the Iranian city of Isfahan.

Among countries competing in various categories of the 30th festival include Germany, France, Netherlands, Canada, China, Czech, Russia, Denmark, Turkey, Japan, USA, India, Qatar, Bangladesh and Egypt.

Children and youth as well as professional filmmakers are encouraged to attend the festival, which will be held in Isfahan from June 30 to July 6.

The International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults aims to promote arts of children cinema and to highlight the role of cinema in caring for children as well as discover and develop children’s talents in arts and cinema.

More information is available on the festival’s website, which has organized a fan club where children and parents can learn more about artistic events of this sort.

The city of Isfahan will host the festival for an additional four years until 2021.

Isfahan is renowned for hosting famous historical sites and museums.
